West Coast Asset Management is currently hiring for the following postions:
Senior Research Analyst: with a passion for value investing.
The position requires a self-motivated, resourceful and detailed individual with significant equity analysis experience and excellent writing skills. The main objective is to manage the research process for WCAM's separately managed equity accounts, which consist of 10-15 undervalued stocks. Candidate must be a generalist with a deep understanding of cash flow, margin of safety, and fundamental valuation. One fulltime junior analyst will support this position.
Accounting Clerk: business accounting experience.
The position requires a meticulous and highly professional individual with a strong accounting background. This individual will oversee financial functions including accounting, budget, financial reporting, and reconciliation of expenses. The individual will liaison with office vendors, oversee payroll, and be responsible for accounts receivable and payable.
Office Manager-Receptionist: friendly and professional.
The position requires a detail oriented and highly professional individual with a positive, "can-do" attitude. This individual will be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly. Good judgement in problem solving and a willingness to provide administrative support to President and co-workers is important in this position.
